Series Éimaischen

Inspired "Emaischen"  a well known Arts and crafts festival in easter Monday in Luxembourg.  Speciality features are ceramic whistles modelled in form of bird figures, called "Peckvillchen". 

I was fascinated to participate in this event, by using my own artistic methods: intaglioprints. My bird prints are made using copper as a printing surface. From the ready etched copperplate I make a print on special paper. Since 2003 I have made yearly new examples to complete my series of differend kind bird images. All graphic prints are numbered up to 20. Year 2020 was annulled because of sanitaire restrictions. Hoping to be able to participate on the next Year. 2021 !
